One of our favorite properties in Zambia is Time + Tide’s King Lewanika, the only permanent lodge, located within Liuwa Plain National Park. Thanks to its centennial protection, this region is one of Africa's best-kept secrets and provides a truly authentic safari experience. One of the largest concentrations of elephants and lions call Kafue National Park home. In the Lower Zambezi Valley, along the Chongwe River, you find activities such as tiger fishing, sleeping under the stars, and wildlife hides for a ground-level vantage—a photographer's dream.
